Greetings List Lurkers,
Despite the fact I did not have a weekend, but rather a very intense Cisco
seminar (with practicum :^) for some reason I am looking forward to this
Monday afternoon. The adult swim will continue today
...this evening we will be meeting between 5 and 7 PM at the Hedding
United Methodist community facilities as per usual.
This session begins a new phase. We have a new toy to play with, a Lego
mindstorm. We are very interested in interfacing the Dallas Semiconductor
three wire temperature sensors to the Mindstorm NS module. Despite this,
we continue our python programming discussions, the ongoing attempt to
satisfy the ageing python homework contest, and show the new ground we
have plowed in "fried tiddles".
Despite these topics we also touch on system troubleshooting and we are
always about Linux / Ubuntu system installation. Last week we had a
viewing of DTG's laptop, with a fresh copy of Maverick Meerkat installed,
he plugged in an external monitor and it ***just figured it out ***
(gawleee :^).
