Subject: Open Source Point of Sale Software

I'm helping someone out setting up basic point of sale software. It's
going to be used in a non profit's museum gift shop. It looks like there
a couple of open source options out there, like PHP Point of Sale and
LemonPOS, but I can't get a sense of how good they are - there doesn't
seem to be any reviews. Can anyone recommend an open source point of
sale product? The requirements are very basic: just one computer to act
as the register, and it just needs to track inventory and sales, and
print receipts. No credit card processing. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Asa

I’ve worked minimally with a few: TinaPOS looks pretty solid, and one
that I’m at least architecturally impressed with is is4c. I’d look in
to that one pretty carefully if it were me J
