Greetings List Lurkers,
Based upon the dwindling supply of greenbacks in my wallet, the fact
that everyone I know is buying off-road diesel in order to get a warm
shower from their aging oil combo furnaces, as well as the fact that
nobody really wanted to get into video editing (at least not yet :^), we
are going to be moving from video to energy awareness.
Thus, the topic of this weeks BOSI Adult Swim shall be how open source
systems can help mitigate our energy crisis. For starters, everyone is
welcome to get on the Barre Energy Awareness Resource (http://bearvt.org),
and come to the meeting armed with scathing criticisms of my ability as a
web-master, Open Source Advocate, community member, person, and human male.
I will pretend not to care.
Nancy Nottermann, a community member knowledgeable of energy issues will be
the moderator of our efforts and will no doubt leave this gathering
disillusioned and despairing of any effort we may make of getting
organized...
In other words, a splendid time is guaranteed for all!
See you there...
As usual, we shall all be gathering between 5 and 7:00 PM at the Hedding
United Methodist community facilities. For more information about the
meeting time and location try this:

Come on down if you have questions or are interested in Linux or the concept of
free and open systems.
