Greetings Fellow VAGUErs: My name is Eric Basile you might remember me as the former President of FIREHOSE at some of the joint meetings our groups have had in the past year. Well I'm here again not as FIREHOSE President but as Prime Minister of The Champlain College Game Developers Association (CCGDA). We are a student chapter of the IGDA and one of our goals this year was to have club not only serve the students of Champlain but the wider Burlington community of game developers. With that in mind I would like to invite all those on the list interested in game development to our first public meeting that will be held on October 19th on our Champlain College campus, in the Joyce Learning Center Rm 201 at 8:30pm. At this meeting we will be introducing my fellow officers and I, explaining some of our goals, what we're doing & what you can help out. We will also hear a Post-Mort about GDC Austin, after which you're free to hang out and mingle. I look forward to hopefully seeing some of you there.
