A dusting of snow does not daunt the granite heads in Barre from having a
Linux and Open Source Software meeting as per our schedule. Again,
hopefully, we are gonna work more on our internal infrastructure and the
web rebuild situation, both of which is really in grim shape, and less on
folk's hardware...
Except Dave who gets a gig for his Thinkpad...

The basement of the Hedding UMC facility is actually working out pretty well.
On another front, my wife and I have recently completed replacing the heat
plant in the Victorian house at 17 Averill Street here in Barre
(http://www.flint.com/home) just off Currier Park, from the Oil grid.
In celebration of the installation of a Pellergy of Barre locally
manufactured petroleum free Steam boiler, I am holding an open house
Wednesday evening January 1, starting at about 6 PM, in order to show off
this technical marvel.
While the software here is PIC Basic stamp based and not necessarily open
source yet, there appears to be opportunity to both extend this system and
most important not buy oil.
