Back to the gunnmetal grey skies that keep us in constant anticipation of
a warm sunny spring day here in the Green Mountain state. Welcome to your
official notice of the Barre Open Systems Institute (BOSI) Adult swim, in
a reasonable time, (the swim stars at 5:00 PM) we will begin the ancient
esoteric of trying to screw in the inscrutable and fix the unfixable with
the hammer of open source. Despite all this, the BOSI Adult Swim remains
an excellent opportunity to do good things with open source technology...
Several projects are of interest, we are attempting to develop Barre Open
Porch, based upon a fork of the Open Porch product in GIT. As you can see this
would fit very well into my framework for world domination at this afternoons
meeting. We are interested in your good thoughts and offices.

Otherwise Barre indeed remains a great venue for a Linux and Open Source
Software meeting. Perennially, I hope that are gonna work more on our internal
infrastructure and the web rebuild situation, both of which remain in grim
shape. That said, We have our grubby mits on the Dallas Semi "1-wire"
temperature probes, and more on the way, the damn Basic Stamp micro development
kit still appears to be immune to Linux Who knows, we actually have an Arduino
and who would not like a Raspberry Pie... in order to get around to doing some
system development.

Note that our meeting time for this week will remain Monday 5-7 PM, by next
month - that would be May, we should be moving to 4:30 to 6:30 PM. (Yea
right...:^)

The basement of the Hedding UMC facility is actually working out pretty well.
