Welcome to your official notice of the Barre Open Systems Institute (BOSI)
Adult swim, in a reasonable time, (the swim stars at 5:00 PM) we will
continue the business of dealing with the all manner of technology. Many
believe, the BOSI Adult Swim remains an excellent opportunity to do good
things with open source technology...
Many of these same people actually buy Quantum String Theory...
Several projects are of interest, we are attempting to develop Barre Open
Porch, based upon a fork of the Open Porch product in GIT, as well as the
always popular pellet furnace monitoring project. Additionally today we
are gonna fix Janos's laptop, likely by upgrading the silly thing to
Ubuntu 12.04 with gnome shell. You can still clearly see how this would
fit very well into my framework for world domination.
My latest fetish is JavaScript, Ajax and JBoss, so I may be reduced to complete
gibberish by the time the meeting starts. This stuff is way cool.

Otherwise Barre indeed remains a great venue for a Linux and Open Source
Software meeting. We made progress on our internal infrastructure, remember it
is an analog world. We likely have to change out a video card before the night
is through for our hosts.
That said, continue to find our grubby mitts on the Dallas Semi "1-wire"
temperature probes, and a more zealous Arduinaut you cannot find.
Note that the Barre library stocks Linux World where a great deal has been
said about the worldwide Rasbury PI shortage. So it goes.
