Thanx all. I'll look over links in responses.

More precisely:

        * No hardware in mind
        * I can install debian or ubuntu no problem
                - if install is outside normalish procedural, install notes
would be good
        * Preinstalled would be OK, prefer to install myself
        * Looking for hardware to permit install: yes
                - hopefully with a minimum of non-free sources, etc.
                - open source friendly hardware/philosophy preferred

Don't have a lot of fancy requirements for the system once up. I can almost do
this on my Nokia N9 Linux phone (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nokia_N9).

Again, system once installed needs to
        * Browse web
        * Print using Cups
        * Use WiFi
        * Use Bluetooth

Thanx for all the leads. Will report back if success is acheived! This is one
possible avenue forward on a project I'm working on.

What precisely do you need to know ? Do you already have particular hardware in mind on which you wish to install Debian/Ubuntu ? Are you looking for the procedure to install Debian/Ubuntu on such hardware ? Are you looking for recommendations for hardware with Debian/Ubuntu already installed ? Are you looking for recommendations for hardware which will permit one to install Debian/Ubuntu ?

Greetings Vagrants.

I'm working on a project where we may be able to use a Debian/Ubuntu tablet in the mix to make some magic happen.

The tablet needs to be able to
* Browse the web
* Print using Cups drivers
* Use WiFi to access the world wide internets
* Use Bluetooth

Anybody have recommendations on a clean system that might meet these requirements? I thought this was easy, but a quick googling does not reveal the solution.

Thanx O keepers of the Wisdom.
