Indeed,
I should mention I have ocassionally successfully connected with the
steps I listed. Perhaps three times out of 30? attempts. However, the
keyboard seems to time out and I can't automatically connect at boot.
I've changed AutoEnable to "true" in /etc/bluetooth/main.conf.

Subject: Pairing a keyboard with bluetoothctl? Failed to connect:
org.bluez.Error.Failed
I'm attempting to pair a keyboard with bluetoothctl from the command
line. The MAC is 90:7F:61:2A:CD:42 and I can successfully pair the
keyboard with Blueman.
After invoking bluetoothctl I type the following:
power on
agent KeyboardOnly
default-agent
pairable on
scan on
pair 90:7F:61:2A:CD:42
trust 90:7F:61:2A:CD:42
connect 90:7F:61:2A:CD:42
After the last command I receive two lines:
Attempting to connect to 90:7F:61:2A:CD:42
Failed to connect: org.bluez.Error.Failed
I'd like to connect from the command line but I don't see the
problem. Why am I receiving a failure message?
