What a weekend...
The sun came out on Saturday and Sunday with very mixed media on the
latter day. We appear to be in the middle of a January thaw here in the
desolate frozen North.
No doubt we will pay for this respite with a deluge of snow soon enough.
Dr. Mark Layed additional Apple-sumer gizmos on us, and we will be
receiving, sorting and checking out his abundant plunder as part of this
evenings swim.
No less than Kevin Cole, likely without his shiny new flute, may attempt
to call in from Hac DC some time this evening. Under no circumstances are
we to refer to him as Jethro Cole... simply out of respect!
In addition I ran into Mary Alice of Yourduino fame, and fully intend to
add her to the dreaded mailing list. (Abandon all hope my digital
sister:^)... She has expressed interest in attending the Swim tonight and
I cross my fingers at her arrival.
That said... Neither rain or snow...(etc.)
Show up at Hedding UMC if you have questions or are interested in Linux, good
pizza or the concept of free and open systems. Again, we are in the
basement
of the Hedding UMC facility which we like pretty well.
