Greetings List Lurkers,
This weekend we could actually move around, at least till the Saturday
Night Ice Storm (SNIS) pulled through, and we got that special New England
treat - "Wintry Mix"... What a weekend...
This level of nasty has trapped me inside with all of my projects... What
a horror trying to recover systems and technology after a fire... But
progress is being made...
The Aldrich came through with a buncha hardware we are gonna check on and
tonight, thus we must start and may continue sorting and checking out his
abundant plunder as part of this evening's swim.
Also tonight we begin to expand TechnoRubble. I would like to recruit all
the homeless teach them how to solder and hack, and then recruit them as
Bashists... Anybody interested in Digital Arts & Crafts?
We look forward to the lovely Kevin Cole, who may put up his hood and
attempt to call in from Hac DC some time this evening.
In addition I ran into Mary Alice of Yourduino fame, and fully intend to add
her to the dreaded mailing list. (Abandon all hope my digital sister:^)... She
has expressed interest in attending the Swim but for this evening I would worry
about transport prior to her arrival. I very much look forward to how it
is going at Barre City Elementary...
That said... Neither rain or snow...(etc.)
Show up at Hedding UMC if you have questions or are interested in Linux, good
pizza or the concept of free and open systems. Again, we are in the basement
of the Hedding UMC facility which we like pretty well.
If you wish to be included on the "Linux_adult_swim" mailing list, send a
response to this note, or contact me.
Happy New Year,
Thanks and...
Kindest Regards,
Paul Flint
