Cold and clear this morning...Winter is creeping up.
I have to prepare to travel to New London, Connecticut for a family thing
Wednesday afternoon... Oh what fun!
My latest Techno-infatuation is the Petoi Nybble:

This is an open source Robotic Cat made by Rongzhong Li of Pittsburgh
implements the Raspberry Pi in a robotic feline form. I simply must get
one. Apparently I will need cut parts using a Laser Cutter.
Unfortunately I do not have access to such a thing.
That said, I am again thinking about having the meeting at SugarTower
tonight, along with a bonfire. If I can get the microwave link going, we
might be able to go live from the fire site.
I actually have some pictures of SugarTower, if I can find the time to upload
them, I intend to install them at docbox.flint.com:8081/sugartower, with the
ardent hope that we can migrate to gitbox.flint.com as soon as we can.
Again, I hope to get some of the security cameras up and running. Mostly,
I remain happily fixated on SugarTower, playing with big hardware and
avoiding death.
Beyond this the real need here is for two firewalls, one for home and one for
Sugartower and to set up Teamview for remote access to the toys at
SugarTower... I also need to and intend to set up a real graphics machine so I
do not have to throw my wife off the HP pavilion.
The good news here is that by and large, things are back to normal and we can
look forward to a sane and maybe especially good meeting this evening, like
last week...
Come on to Jitsi at 6PM.
