The University of Vermont is looking for a Systems Security Engineer to
help develop and maintain the security of our enterprise infrastructure.
In this Engineering role, you will contribute to operational security
efforts including intrusion detection and prevention, vulnerability
management and scanning, system and network logging, and analysis. You
will implement, manage, and integrate systems and software in support of
Enterprise Technology Services’ information security mission. And you
will manage information security projects of significant impact,
developing a deep understanding of UVM’s information ecosystem, and
designing both systems and workflows to detect and prevent intrusion.
Qualified candidates will have a background in cybersecurity or systems
engineering.
