The good news is that I got one of the junk laptops working by epoxying the power connector in. So we need about two or three old windows laptops to bespoke Linux-ize and get to folks who need them. Me thinks that I have finally found a laptop that actually works for meetings, so it is a keeper... The used laptops shall have worthy homes... Oh well... Something always comes up...
