I tried to install the ppa on elementary freya (based on ubuntu trusty) and
the results
were not good.
First it failed to install monodevelop.

But more worryingly, it installed some very unstable package from ricotz
ppa.
Those package (mainly gstreamer) broke my actual configuration.
And I haven't managed to uninstall them all as, for some reason, ppa-purge
don't work as
expected.

All in all, the trusty flavor of the ppa is not un-maintained, it's broken
and dangerous for
your system stability.

Cheers,
Carl.
