This has been discussed before, not that long ago on one of the Valgrind
lists, but I couldn't find it in the Gmane index.

In short, apparently an incomplete but reasonably usable x86/MacOSX port has
been written by Greg Parker, an Apple employee. We would love to have this
port become part of Valgrind, as it would broaden Valgrind's audience
greatly (more than any other port except a Windows port, which would be
technically difficult, but some people have been making excellent progress
lately with Wine).

AFAICT the obstacles to Greg's code being made public are more legal (to do
with Apple releasing open source code) than technical. Although Greg
earlier suggested that a post-Leopard release was possible, that hasn't
eventuated so it's unclear if/when it will be made public. If anyone has
more recent/better information than I do please feel free to correct me!

Nick
