Hi all:

I am pleased to announce that DynamoRIO tool platform now open source under
BSD license.

The DynamoRIO dynamic instrumentation tool platform is now open source

under a BSD-style license. DynamoRIO is available at

       http://code.google.com/p/dynamorio/

An email list/discussion forum for users of DynamoRIO has also been

established:

       http://groups.google.com/group/dynamorio-users/

The DynamoRIO tool platform provides a framework to build custom tools

that utilize dynamic code manipulation for instrumentation, profiling,

analysis, optimization, introspection, security, and more in Windows and

Linux. DynamoRIO was first released to the public in June 2002 and has

since been used by many researchers to develop systems ranging from taint

tracking to prefetch optimization. The source code of DynamoRIO is now

available at http://code.google.com/p/dynamorio/ under a BSD-style

license. We hope that DynamoRIO's availability will facilitate dynamic

tool creation. We also seek feedback on how we can improve the DynamoRIO

API.

Best Regards

Qin
