I just compiled and installed on x86 Linux machine, it installs in
/usr/local/bin and /usr/local/lib directories, also it copies header files
into /usr/local/include directory, it works orefectly. But I have embedded
target which is also x86 based, I cannot run "make install" on that target
since I compiles everything on x86 Host and create one large image and burn
that image onto target, only way is, I can created a tar ball and copy that
onto target and untar all those files back on target, makesure it went into
respective directories, I think mainly I need /usr/local/bin and
/uselocal/lib. Let me try.
