It seems that the ptrace system call is not supported by valgrind on ppc32/64-linux systems; the wrapper in the 3.5 codebase is commented out. I've search the mailing list and developer list archives for discussion of problems in supporting ptrace on these systems to no avail. Can somebody refer me to such discussion or comment on the reason that this functionality is disabled?
