Hi,

I have some problems running code::blocks + valgrind in a c++
projecto...

it gives me the following error:

valgrind --version
valgrind-3.7.0
valgrind --leak-check=full --track-origins=yes --show-reachable=yes
--xml=yes
--xml-file=/media/MY_STUFF2/PROGRAMING/Practice/c++/first/ValgrindOut.xml
"/media/MY_STUFF2/PROGRAMING/Practice/c++/first/bin/Debug/first"

valgrind: Fatal error at startup: a function redirection
valgrind: which is mandatory for this platform-tool combination
valgrind: cannot be set up. Details of the redirection are:
valgrind:
valgrind: A must-be-redirected function
valgrind: whose name matches the pattern: strlen
valgrind: in an object with soname matching: ld-linux-x86-64.so.2
valgrind: was not found whilst processing
valgrind: symbols from the object with soname: ld-linux-x86-64.so.2
valgrind:
valgrind: Possible fixes: (1, short term): install glibc's debuginfo
valgrind: package on this machine. (2, longer term): ask the packagers
valgrind: for your Linux distribution to please in future ship a non-
valgrind: stripped ld.so (or whatever the dynamic linker .so is called)
valgrind: that exports the above-named function using the standard
valgrind: calling conventions for this platform. The package you need
valgrind: to install for fix (1) is called
valgrind:
valgrind: On Debian, Ubuntu: libc6-dbg
valgrind: On SuSE, openSuSE, Fedora, RHEL: glibc-debuginfo
valgrind:
valgrind: Cannot continue -- exiting now. Sorry.

This package doesn't existin the repos of mint LMDE... : libc6-dbg
i have already libc6, and libc6-dev packages, but how can i have a gnu
ld linker complete, that export named funtions like strlen :? ??

but it is installed...

libc6-dbg:
Installed: 2.13-37
Candidate: 2.13-37
Version table:
*** 2.13-37 0

i also have installed this versions of the packages that have gnu
linker ld:

ii binutils 2.22-7.1 amd64 GNU assembler, linker and binary utilities
ii binutils-dev 2.22-7.1 amd64 GNU binary utilities (BFD development
files) ii binutils-source 2.22-7.1 all GNU assembler, linker and binary
utilities (source)

in linux mint foruns..they don t catch the problem:

http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=190&t=128204&p=697706#p697706

in code::Blocks, they don catch it neither:
http://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php/topic,17632.new.html#new

what can i do to solve the problem...do you guys see someting that can
cause this??

thanks in advance

regards
