Matthew, Please study information in README.solaris. It lists all the requirements your Solaris version needs to satisfy. Most importantly it states you need either illumos or Solaris 11. Solaris 10 simply does not work. I would be glad to assist you in building Valgrind on any Solaris 11 or higher system. Kind regards, I.
