Rob,
You are not missing a package. Repository cache protocol is an inherent
part of the core system.
There could be three possible problems:
- repcache protocol version autodetection failed somehow
- you are running too old Solaris version (and Valgrind does not support it)
- you are running too new Solaris version (highly unlikely)
Please could you report 'pkg info entire' and then I will try to reproduce
it.
