Well I'm not sure you'll consider it help as such...
Sparc is not, and never has been, a supported platform. The list of
supported platforms can be found here:
http://valgrind.org/info/platforms.html
Note at the bottom that there are details of an out of tree attempt at a
port, but there is no support in the main valgrind release.
Oh and that is sparc/linux anyway, not sparc/solaris.
