Hehehe, must confess that you surely possess the writing prowess to impress one and all! Good job, keep it up!
Hmm, it is hilarious to read about the Dharmendra ka point, i swere the way these T.V channels were reporting about Amitabh when i was leaving from India as if these were his last few days! Anyways, i am so glad that he is fit and back home because i simply love Amitabh and am one of his greatest fans! Infact, i admire him more because of the way he carries himself and presents himself in public! Truely, a rare gem India has produced, really proud of him! Arre, Dubai I will be going after Diwali, 30th to be precise! Well, gymming has been the way of life for me for years now! No gym, no fun! Completely addicted to it but despite the effort i put in I am not happy with my fitness simply because of the erratic food habits! Well, here comes the point, do whatever in the gym or for fitness but if you dont eat the right food and maintain the eating discipline you will never be able to become fit. I am a long away from considering myself fit but i will be there someday for sure! Will never give up the dream of chasing that perfect physique!!! No lectures but just one suggestion till you really become very serious about weight management, just eat regularly in small installments! If you can do that on regular basis I am sure it will be easier for you to lose weight and tone your body faster than you think! Why doesnt Kiran give us some tips on fitness! I guess whoever has met Kiran will agree that she is pretty fit and to remain that fit after giving birth to 2 children is commendable! So, Kiran thoda gyan de do sabhi ko please! I wish i could have asked my wife to pen a few words on fitness since she is amazingly fit too and always gives me a complex at the gym. She can still pass off as a college girl as many ppl in the gym get stunned when they know that she is not only married but is a mother of a 6 year old daughter! I have a lot time during the evenings after finishing my work at the show over here and that is the reason why i write so much, sorry folks, a few more days to bear, i will be back in Mumbai next week and promise not to bore you all that much! ________________________________ From: Archana Sharma <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, 17 October, 2008 7:19:03 PM Subject: Re: Blowing my own trumpet Now you are in Boston??? When Were you in Dubai then with viren's family and all? You Globetrotter!!! How much i envy you. Naah..in fact happy for you. Hot in Boston...sounds nice..it's cold out here. But today was sunny. London wasn't a hunch...haan but had the journalism scene not changed what with 24-hours news channels and 5 KG newspapers, I would have loved to stay there. Yeah people do get surprised as I was doing well there...in journalism and it was a comfort zone too. But i was sick of participating in Page Bharo Andolan every single day...as that is what it was. The other day i was in London and Star News was showing 10 scenes of Amitabh. I really thought Amitabh had died...they way they showed his life..past and present. And the real news was he was getting better and would be discharged soon. And Dharmendra came to see him in the hospital..guess what the reporter asked him, " Did u miss Amitji all these days?" As if DharamPaji and Amitji used to sleep together. YUCK!!! Sorry for the deviation. Nayan, you should be proud of your gymming. As it's very tough to lose weight and even maintain weight. And touchwood,...you are very fit. And running better than teenage trainers at our age is like a bronze medal (for the sake of credibility) of Olympics. Well done!! Don't be apologetic for talking about your achievement. It motivates us. Kuch nahin pakaya...ok? Arch P.S: I have gained 5 kgs....i wish I could slip this in in the message without anyone noticing it!!! Scoldings, lecture, advices all welcome. I have started Yoga though. I was actually more surprised when you suddenly decided to move to London on a hunch, atleast that is what appeared to me! I am sure there may be some tangible reasons for doing that since it is never easy to leave one's family and stay alone! Well, my achievement or should i say i can brag about one such incident and that is the gym! Couple of years back there was some sort of fitness test in our gym and i was told that i was the best runner.I ran about 2.88 k in 12 minutes, i was flattered more to know about this one since none of the instructors who are 18-19 could do this then. I guess many of you can do this but somehow i felt like sharing this since there was nobody in the gym who could do it then. But now the irony is that i have injured the menescus of one of my left knee due to weight training and although i have applied for the 21 k marathon in December I am not sure whether i will be able to take part! Lets hope i can do it somehow! Chalo bahut pakaya, it is hot here in Boston today, very hot infact! Take care all of u! ----- Original Message ---- From: Jaya Satish <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] Sent: Thursday, 16 October, 2008 9:03:06 PM Subject: Re: Blowing my own trumpet Archana, I am truly amazed/surprised at your talents.
