Nayan, Thanks for the praise.....though may not be valid any more...as you have rightly mentioned....practice itna nahin hai..specially in the last 2 years......but old memories are still fresh....it was indeed very encouraging every time a stump was uprooted...and if it was the middle stump.....it was overwhelming!! In dubai, unfortunately, there arent many soft pitches.....most are cement pitches....so, unless you are really FAST, you are not effective..............its good for bowlers like tendulkar who can spin a bit and bowl intelligently....hah.ahaaa...it gets difficult to bat..... frankly, i dont think there will be time and occasion for a cricket match during your visit....(the grounds are being used up for construction and they are in the process of being relocated)...but for sure we can share some memories...
