I read one of the stories of his bravery which is not mentioned below! He was positioned at Kupwara district in Kashmir a few years back to fight the terrorists there! On one fine day, he was walking with his subordinate and suddenly there were gun shots, he quickly ran across the streets and took cover behind some structure. But he quickly realized that his colleague hadn't come with him. After a few hours the firing stopped but it had become dark and it had started snowing then. This dare devil was so concerned about his colleague's safety that he did not bother to call for any help from the army quarters since they were far off and instead went to the site to look for his colleague all alone! It had gone very dark by then and also he was not equipped with warm clothes but he went on with the job on hand! Finally, after 3-4 hours he found his friend under the avalanche of snow who was still breathing.
