Hi By now, you all might have heard about the attack on the Sri Lankan cricketers bus in Pakistan. This morning on local ABC radio they were interviewing a Ms Ayesha Siddiqui, a former security consultant to the Govt of Pakistan. When asked about the possible group responsible for the attack, the first name she names is that "India could be responsible" as a revenge to 26/11 .... When asked, if that was the case why would India target Srilankan players and not the Pakistani players, she did not have a proper answer, she says Srilankan players are a very important target and this could create tensions etc .... This woman has got my blood boiling ... Even if there was no such perception, there is now. Normal public, especially Pakistani's, are not driven by logic but popular perceptions and with this theory, we can pretty much forget about any assistance from Pakistan in bringing the perpetrators of 26/11 to justice. Whatever needs to be done, we have to do it ourselves. SUbu
