Hi All I saw a very good documentary this week on the Mumbai Terror attacks in ABC TV in their programme titled FourCorners. This docco was absolutely spine chilling. They play recorded conversations of the Terrorists and their Bosses in Pakistan. They have various interviews as well. After watching this, could not help but feel sorry for the Terrorists who carried out the attacks. They were kids who had hardly seen the world, in complete control of their bosses. Some shocking moments were when the Terrorist in Chabad House (who probably had enough of the killings) trying to get out of the task of killing the last 2 hostages and trying to use delay tactics. Finally he succumbs to the pressure and shoots them at the back of the head, as his bosses ordered, while the were on line. The Terrorist at Taj is amazed with the opulence of the place and tells his bosses about the size of the rooms and the chandeliers and the 30 inch computer screens. He is quickly reminded of the mission and is ordered to light a fire on the outside that the world should be able to see. Kasab who reveals during his interrogation about how he was sold to LeT by his father for getting his sister married etc. It is distressing but definitely worth a watch, it gives us some insights about how these boys are brainwashed about martyrdom.
