Hello Varnish Developers,
I learned from a discussion in January
(http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/varnish/misc/13727) that a
persistent silo is not (yet) intended to survive a parent restart.
I tried versions 2.1, 2.1.2 and r4859 from svn: Always the cached
objects survive a child restart but do not survive the parent
restarting. Did I miss something in my configuration or is this behavior
intended and I misunderstand the meaning of persistence in varnish?
