Hi, I've started on a project to improve the persistence storage backend in Varnish. I've created a wiki page at https://www.varnish-cache.org/trac/wiki/ImprovedPersistence with my initial ideas and implementation plan. All feedback most welcome (and won't be answered immediately as I leave for one week vacation tomorrow :)
