You get this behavior by default if you use grace mode and have proper conditional headers. > Is it possible to force this caching via beresp.ttl and beresp.keep? Once you go beyond the ttl and grace periods, there's no way to serve the object from the cache. During the keep period, the object can only be used for a conditional backend request.
