Goa's land, culture, and identity, by the real estate
sharks and the mining lobby, in cahoots with
corrupt politicians, is told through the medium of
an audio-visual slideshow.

Dears,
Goa is being gagged and raped. The CM and Minister for Panchayati Raj seem to
be working in tandem. So also are some other ministers. It is not that the
CONGRESS party is bad, for almost all these ministers were also ministers in
Manohar Parrikar's BJP-led Government [Digamber was Power Minister, Babu
Azgaokar held the same portfolio and blocked the devolution of powers to the
Panchayats inGoa on par with the other states], Mickky, Dhavlikar, Ravi and
some others have also "been there, done that" as far as being in the BJP and
raping Goa is concerned. Of course, Manohar Parrikar headed the BJP Government,
and the Caravella Casino operated in the River Mandovi during BOTH his
HALF-TERMS in ofice as the CM of Goa.
Massive conversion of land did not START with Babush Monserrate: it started
with Prakash Phadte as Minister for TCP. Prakash Phadte is someone I knew as a
farmer from Mayem-Bicholim when I served in the Zonal Agriculture Office in
Bicholim in the early 1980s. Yet, even the HARA property next to the Santa Cruz
football ground stands testimony to his modern day "conversions". One RTI will
tell you what he did in two and half years of being a TCP Minister in the
BJP-led Government of Goa. Babush Monserrate, under the tutelage of Manohar
Parrikar and the more accomplished leaders from North India, made "conversions"
a fine art .... with missionary zeal that would make Jesuit conversions in the
1500s appear like a transistor before a microchip.
In the FIRST Millenium Jesus, the son of a carpenter in Italian-occupied
Israel, said "I am the BREAD of Life". In the SECOND Millenium, Marie
Antonette the wife of an impotent fool called King Louis the XIV, said "If they
do not have bread, let then eat CAKE." She had lost touch with the ground
realities in the pre-Revolution France. She literally 'lost her head' and was
guillotined! Now in the THIRD Millenium, the bakers to the Government of Goa
are telling the CM to give all the GOYCHE PAO some concrete "DEVELOPMENT"
History of Goa [as narrated by Manohar Moolgaokar in INSIDE GOA, first
published by the then fully Congress Government of Goa under P.S.Rane] tells us
that when the Portuguese forces, under Afonso de Albuquerque with support of
quisling "Admiral" Timmaji, were defeated by the patriotic soldiers under the
Sultan of Bijapur, Adil Shah, in May 1510 they received help from another
quisling. The Portuguese warships docked near present day Britona and bore the
rains ... and allegedly spawned a few mestizos in the period... only to attack
and capture Goa again. The capture of Gopakkapatna or Cidade de Goa on 25
November 1510 A.D., allegedly aided and abetted by another quisling named Mhalu
Pai Vernekar from ancestral Mardol-Verna, was final and the colonization lasted
451 years!
On 19 December, 1961, the Indian Army helped us to say GOOD BYE to Portugal
Mutts and Jeffs. HELLO!! Their collaborators' decendants are still here, alive
and kicking in Goa. The name also has a familiar ring of Portugal in it! The
Portuguese are now replaced by our corporates and "Up-country" entrepreneurs.
Not surprisingly, the Raheja's [or, rather, rahe ja nahin sakta] chose Verna,
the ancestral Mardol in the Old Conquest Salcette [Not Scarlett Keeling, but
raped just the same, with "doped" documents and permissions given by Modern day
Vernekars and "Loot-le kars ...and foundation "stoned" by another collaborator
group], while the Cipla group went to Keri ...near the new Mardol in Sondekar's
Antruz Mahal [Ponda taluka]

of the "rape of Goa after the gagging". It is a task done by the force of the
