According to a press note by PWD Works Division XVII (PHE-N), the various localities have been marked as zones and each zone has been provided with a water tanker, with contact details of an official. Zone 1 represents OCoqueiro area and the tanker (GA-01-G-7674) will be stationed at Porvorim. Zone 2 represents Socorro area and the tanker (GA-01-Z-0876) will be stationed at Socorro. Zone 3 represents PDA area and the tanker (GA-03-K-7788) will be stationed at the PDA tank. The PWD has stated that each tanker will make 6 to 8 trips daily, within the locality and any resident of the affected locality is requested to contact the PWD official on the contact details specified. The concerned citizen, PWD official and the water supply tanker owners will keep details of the calls and action taken for prompt resolution of grievances from the public.
