Your detailed write-up on Allen Costa and the video clip is much appreciated.
Having read it, i felt nostalgic.
In the seventies and eighties All India Radio Panjim and Radio Ceylon (later
Srilanka Broadcasting Corp.) was the only means of entertainment, Allen was
for Goans the Amin Sayani (of Binaca Geet Mala fame)of Emissora de Goa.
BTW His daughter Tina is a Radio Jockey with one of the FM stations (FM Rainbow
if I am not mistaken). She also does stage shows. I did co-host the first Romi
Konkani Sam'melon alongwith her at Ravindra Bhavan.
