Good Idea Gary!

It would make a good first tutorial for the tutorial section.

I know Bill Thompson has done some work in this area for our Wargame Academy
modules.

Hi gang,

Just wondering if anyone is working on, or contemplating on working on adding a
simple "How to get started using VASSAL" for the wiki? I'm on consimworld in a
folder and we're discussing VASSAL - and long story short, I'm typing the basic
instructions for how to install and launch a VASSAL module for what seems like
the umpteenth time now. It sure would be great to just point somebody to the
wiki in the future.

I know, I know - "well get on it then!" you say. :) I will be more than happy
to contribute, I just don't want to duplicate the effort if somebody has
already begun this little project. I say let's collaborate and get something
up there - I think it would get a lot of people off the fence who have no idea
on how to use this thing.

And if it's there already - or somewhere else, please point me to it. The
"Overview" is just that - a few screenshots with no real info on usage, and the
FAQ doesn't offer much help for a beginner either.

Thanks!
Gary
