Ok, I can see that. Next couple of lines just thinking out loud...please add your thoughts. I will collect all of this and a a RFE (Request For Enhancement) on Sourceforge. All of this is certainly do-able. How would you have this feature interact with the hiding of pieces? The logical way would be to have the pieces hidden only for the local player, the remote player will just see a LOS thread, range and message appear when you release the mouse. If the remote player wants to see under the unit, he can use the 'Hide Pieces' buttton. How long does the remote player see the LOS thread hang around for? Probably until the local player click on the map to clear his local LOS thread. We would need a couple of extra fields in the LOS Thread component: 1. Report Format - Optional Report Format when the mouse is released. Include $fromLocatio$, $toLocation$, $range$. Perhaps also $count$ which would report the number of different LOS hexes checked? 2. Show Thread globally on Mouse Up?
