Experience teaches one that VASSAL runs the updater by sequentially
opening the selected scenarios 'in the module' - any scenario-start
game-msgs will be displayed as each scenario is opened.

With useful feedback, complaints, moans and data, it'll probably
improve. If I could get off the dime & produce some, the process of
improving the updater could go forward.
