I have some questions on the Java Technologies: I am currently running:
J2SE 1.4.2.09 NetBeans 4.1 Eclipse 3.1.0 SDK [I really like the Eclipse IDE] I just downloaded the following and want some advice on what to use and what steps I would need to take to get everything in up and running. J2SE 5.0 Update 6 and NB 5.0 Bundle - (jdk-1_5_0_06-nb-5_0-win.exe) J2EE 1.4 SDK - (j2eesdk-1_4_03-windows.exe) Java Studio Creator 2.0 - (creator-2-windows-ml.exe) Sun Java Studio Enterprise 8 - (jstudio_ent8_dl-win.exe) JWSDP 2.0 - (jwsdp-2_0-windows-i586.exe) I watched the video on the Enterprise product and was greatly impressed and I also looked at the Studio Creator flash and was also impressed. I really do like the Studio Enterprise but it may be a bit much. I also like the Studio Creator but again this may be to much. I intend to develop mostly java, jsp, javascripts for web apps with these tools at work. If someone could take the time to look at what I got currently installed (from the above first list) and what I just downloaded (from the above second list) and let me know what to install or uninstall to do some Java, JSP, JavaScript and XML programming that would be greatly appreciated. I also have 2 servers a SBS 2k3 and WinSrv2k3 that I could install as Sun Server Apps (?). Regards~ Don Lazov __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
