Hi Lance,

That's the first that I've heard  of the ".ind" file.  Just do this, do a
file find on your computer for  "AMvassal.jnlp".  You may have 2 or 3 or more
copies.  No worries, it  just takes a second to change them all.

In the list of found files, just  right click and select "open with".  Choose
notepad.  In notepad,  ctrl-F (find) and search for "256".  Change that to
"512" and then save it  and do the same for the next copy.  You'll be in
business  then.

FWIW, the file should be in a your "Documents and Settings" folder,  under
the account name for the computer as such:

C:\Documents and   Settings\<username>\Application  
Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\javaws\cache\http\Dwww.vassalengine.org\P80\DMws\AMva
ssal.jnlp
