Brent you are correct.  I put it in exactly as you have below and it
works!!!

Thank you much.  This opens up a whole new world of things to do now!  The $
signs are not included in the help files for the trigger command or
properties section.  Caused me some confusion but is good now.  Might save
some future consternation for others if the examples were a cleaned up a
little.  I can idiot proof them if you need a good idiot.

Doesn't the Property Match filter automatically assume the first argument is
a property reference, so

Random_Level >= $ZAL$

would be the way to go?
