VASSAL version 2.8 beta is now available at
http://www.vassalengine.org/beta/. Now you make your counters play sounds
and add buttons to them (firing off an action when a player clicks on it).
Also add your own preferences settings. Also has improvements to the
SendToLocation and MoveFixedDistance traits, allowing you to use properties
to determine where you send the pieces.
