I'm using Vassal 2.7, and used the Windows installer rather than
launching it from the web (which was giving me a problem).
Unfortunately, when I try to connect to the server I get the following
message:
Unable to establish connection to server: Connection refused: connect
Server connection refused
Defaulting to peer-to-peer mode
Server connection established
I have opened port 5050 on my router, tried disabling my firewall and
am not running Yahoo!Messenger (which also uses port 5050). None of
these has helped the situation. Any other suggestions? Thanks in
advance for any help.
