By trial and error, I finally actually realized that if I drag the
whole directory /User_Guide_files on the zip file and keep the
"include subfolders" option active in Winzip, the files are saved into
the module with the right relative path, and the loaded help file
(User_Guide.htm) finds them. The help file then displays well when
selected from the Vassal Help Menu :)
So this is good news: no need to put html graphic files in the /image
subdir, and no need to change tags. Just drag and drop the complete
/*_files on the module archive.
Still, having looked at the raw htm created by Microsoft Word, I got
so nauseous that I had to do something about it }:>
