[vassalengine] "info" not found error message while trying to open VASL module

I just downloaded the VASL (Advanced Squad Leader) module and I get 
this error message when trying to load it:

'info' not found in [path to VASL.mod]

I'm using version 2.9.5 of the engine (running locally) and haven't any 
problem with other modules.

Any clue how to fix this?
