Apologies in advance for my ignorance regarding the numbering scheme for VASSAL version numbers! I assume that, once we achieve bug-fix version 2.9.9, the next bug-fix will be 2.9.10, then 2.9.11, etc., rather than rev the first number and go to 3.0.0? Whole-number changes normally are reserved for major releases of a product, while first-decimal-digit revs are reserved for versions with new features that aren't substantial enough to justify a major rev number change. Numbers to the right of the second (and sometimes third) decimal often are used for bug fixes, and can be larger than "9". Is this how we assign version numbers to VASSAL releases, or is there another scheme? Todd Dunnavant
