thanks again for your quick responses.

Can you elucidate to me the difference between Private Windows and
Player Hands? They seem to be exactly the same, structure wise (and
buildfile wise). The in-built help pages don't mention Player Hands at
all.

I tried both types to assign ownership of a window to a given side but
I guess I hit the bug you reported on Dec 30: the non-owning sides
can't see the private windows (or player hands) at all, i.e. buttons
greyed out, despite them being set to visible to all.
