Hi Don,

Be careful with your nomenclature - an Extension is a stand-alone vassal 
'sub-module' that allows you to add images, counters, maps, features etc. to a 
module without zipping/unzipping the main module.

My Turn Tracker is not a Vassal Extension, which is why it needs to be 
installed by zipping/unzipping. However, you could create a Vassal Extension 
that includes a Turn Tracker and that could be added by people without 
zipping/unzipping. Have a look at the reference manual for details on how this 
works.
