Someone else reported the same thing earlier this year. I'm fairly sure that it's a memory issue, but I haven't been able to troubleshoot it myself because I can't reproduce the problem. Can you describe the circumstances under which this happens? The OS? The verion of VASSAL? The module? -- J.
