1. Did you know that you can set your Yahoo Groups account so that you don't receive mail from a group? If you do that, you can still read the group from the Yahoo Groups page, http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/vassalengine/ and doing so won't prevent you from posting when you want to. Maybe that would help you? (I don't think that 45 messages in two days is a lot, myself, though I can see how some people might. I deal with more than 100 nonspam messages daily. It's not hard to do if you have an efficient email client, like nmh.) 2. If we were on a message board, the first thing I'd do is try to figure out how to get the message board to email me the contents of every new message, and how to post new messages by email. -- J.
