The Property Sheet trait that can be applied to cards and
pieces has an annoying behavior that's driving me and my players nuts.
The player tokens in my mod have a Property Sheet attached to
them called Attributes and it's a long list of values and statistics
(Power, Skill, Hit Points, Cash, etc.) that both the owning player
and others can view. In fact, I make heavy use of Property Sheets on
practically every piece in the game. If anyone is viewing a Property
Sheet and they do anything else (roll die, move a piece, chat, etc)
the property sheet closes. This is especially annoying when a player
is building their character at the beginning of the game.
For example: For starting Power, the sheet says roll D6. As soon
as the player hits the die, the Property Sheet window disappears. Now
he has to go back to his token, click it and hit his hotkey or right
click and select Attributes to open it up again. He goes to the next
one, rolls a die and, once again, he has to go back and reopen the
Attributes sheet.
This only occurs if the "Use combined application window"
option in User Preferences is checked. If you have the program set to
open separate windows, the Property Sheet window will remain open
until you physically close it ...which is exactly how it should behave.
Would it be possible to make an adjustment so that if someone
opens a Property Sheet attached to a game piece it stays open until
they physically close it?
Thanx
